One Born Every Minute is back

wow !! she did so well so in control and beautiful to boot !!

well I am crying again.. reminded me of my water birth at home with Mylo.. except it wasnt so bright in my front room when he was delievered and I wasnt on all fours.. lol

I'm jealous. I hope I get a water birth this time.

Water birthing looks amazing! It's seems so calm :)
Can you opt for one?

I cant recommend a water birth enough..
trouble is I was so set on the idea that becaus ethe midwife told me it was a slim to none chance of getting a pool available at hospital, cos there was only two and you had to be available, risk free pregnancy, under 35 and the staffing levels had to be on form.. which I was told never was.. thats why I opted to do it at home. x and all went SWIMMINGLY!! :haha:

Plus no screaming OH told me.. I couldnt quite remember I had used up 9 cannisters of gas and air! lmao

she did so well, surely thats how most births should be - without all the drama and screaming. did she use any pain meds?

I wouldn't call it drama and screaming,I think its whatever helps the woman to get through it.xx

I had to get out the pool to have the pethadine jab in my leg..

ur not supposed to get back in.. (incase you collapse) but I told midwife early on that I WOULD be getting back in it! I paid over £100 for that pool.. and unless the baby was at risk then I would be giving birth IN IT.
She didnt argue with a lady in labour! haha. I had to wait 20 mins though..

Was just thinking that! Maxwell is getting lamped in a minute!!
