DH is putting our first born to bed so I'm all alone.

birth is nowhere near as painful as labour

there was meconium so perhaps they just wanted to get rid of it incase the baby aspirated it?

Was there? I didn't see that. Do they ever show home births?

Yeah it was all over the baby's legs and feet. Because it's a hospital based show they don't show home births ... well haven't as of yet. Because this is a Christmas special and they're showing births all over Britain they might.

Is it normally based out of a single hospital? That would make sense then. Sorry, I've never seen it before! Was just channel flicking and couldn't resist it!

23 weeks I think.

I find it amazing that a baby born at 23 weeks that was nowhere near properly formed can survive and grow up to be a healthy child

lol, our xbox is set up to the downstairs tv so Mike can't have a play. He seems to be enjoying this though which is really nice
