hi just thought i would share this with you guys, i am 30 wks and have just had bloods taken , to which i was phoned and asked to come in and "discuss" the results with the doctor bearing in mind they are now testing for pre-eclampsia and my blood pressure has raised slightly, so you can imagine im worried, anyhow go in to be told that everything was fine and my blood count appeared to be low, but the person reading results didnt pick up on the fact i was pregnant which obviously affects red/white cell count ! so the moral of the story is everyone makes a mistakes and instead of worrying about things get a little bit pushy and get an answer obviously they didnt do it deliberatley but that doesnt help the ol stress levels!
