One sore nipple

We're into week 4 of BF and all is going well. I got over the sore nipples within the first week after religiously applying nipple cream. But all of a sudden my left nipple is really sore when LO feeds on that side only. I'm sure his latch is ok as he's getting milk and I have no problem on the right side. Does anyone have any idea as to why it might have started hurting again?

Could it be thrush perhaps? It tends to start off only on one side...xx

does it feel sore at all when lo is feeding? I find that if my los not latched correctly- even 6 months on, i can still get a bit sore.

Thanks ladies, I've been watching some latching technique videos online and I think bad latch is cause of my problems. I'm nursing now on that side and its not painful. Just need to cure sore nip
