So thought I would post

I am 38 yrs old now, I've been told for 20 yrs that I can't have kids, 11 mths ago I gave birth to my gorgeous baby girl 'Ella' ... it was a massive shock to all the family, and now I found myself pregnant again !!!

So from never having to use protection, to getting pregnant twice so closly together still has us miffed !!

I know I'm classed as an older mum, but I really think I've never actually grown up due to not having children, but its happening fast now,

Oh wow Skye, what a beautiful story you have. Amazing.

I also knew a woman who was told she won't be able to have kids at all, so she adopted a little girl. When the child was almost 5 and she was 40 years old, she fell pregnant and had another daughter.

I'm also (almost) 38, pregnant with my 4th, and still feel like a child myself sometimes, LOL. I find it funny when people refer to me as "old" or an "older mom" or almost midlife! I feel like I felt when I was 18!! I always believe you're as old as you feel. My dr said she's seen 20-year olds who have had heart attacks and other problems, and then women "my age" who is as healthy as a horse and have uncomplicated pregnancies.
