Opinions needed...

Me and OH have got it down to two names, I love them both so could do with some help!

Eva Marie
Eliza Grace

Eliza was my first choice, always had a bit of a thing for "old lady" names but my only concern is that it'll probably be shortened to Liz/Lizzie, and being a Lizzie myself I'm worried it'd feel like LO didn't have her own name.

I can understand about the nn thing, what about making her nn Ellie? I love both names but would probably go for Eliza as its less popular

I've always loved the name Lily for a girl, but OH's surname is Loudon and I've never been a fan of aliterative names.

We are leaning towards Eva at the minute, although I'm not sure whether I prefer Eva Marie or Eva Grace, thought I was set on Eva Marie..but someone else saying Eva Grace has made me think...

ooo this is a toughy. I would've said Eliza, but since you are a Lizzie I think it is a bit similar. But Eva is very popular right now.....decisions, decisions. Back to my original thought, Eliza is soooo pretty. I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure lol

Eliza really is a ridiculously pretty name, if I wasn't a Lizzie I'd have used it in a heartbeat, but even if we shortened it to Ellie/Ella I'd be scared she'd end up becoming a Liz/Lizzie at some point...I think it's something to do with Eliza originally coming from Elizabeth, just doesn't seem right

I think we're pretty much set on Eva, and I'm really leaning to Eva Grace after this thread, although OH still prefers Eva Marie. I love the fact I can "shorten" it to Evie (another name I love) and think it may flow slightly better with her surname.

I absolutely adore the name Eva .. If LO was a girl he would have been an Eva! I love the nickname Evie too xx
