Hi everyone. I'm new to using opk's and I'm confused ....lol. I am on CD 68 (skipped two cycles) so my doctor advised me to check for Lh surges. Since monday I've gotten equal to control lines on my IC. It is now Wednesday and the line I got today was the darkest one yet .

My question is, is it normal to receive positive lines for 3 consecutive days? All equal to the control line?

When i check my cervix, yesterday, it was high, soft, and slippery . Today it is still high but firm. Does that mean I geared up to ovulate but didn't? Why would I still get dark positives today, if my cervix changed from soft and open to firm and closed?

Any insight is appreciated..

The hormone it detects (LH) can be present for longer than you expect. OPK's can't tell you if you have ovulated - they only show you if a surge is present. Charting your basal temperature is the only way (to do yourself at home) to be sure.
