I've attached two pictures taken the other morning of both an internet cheapie and digital test -They both appear positive, I agree- but there is a plot twist I'm interested in getting everyone's opinions about.

So I'm new at the fertility specialist and as part of the first cycle work up I did my CD3 bloodwork and then on CD 11 they wanted me testing with OPKs and I'm to take it first thing in the morning and call before 7am the day it's positive and come in THAT day for bloodwork and an ultrasound to check for follicles (this is apparently to make sure that OPKs are giving me the right information about ovulation)... So I followed the instructions and got these two positives - I was SHOCKED when the smiley appeared CD12 because based on my BBT history I don't usually have a temperature spike until CD16 (on average). ANYWAY so I peed on these sticks at 7am and was in the office having my LH checked by bloodwork at 8am. I was pumped about my positive :happydance:

But the nurse called me back that afternoon and despite having a 20mm follicle and positive OPK at home she said my LH on my bloodwork was too low to indicate I'm ovulating anytime soon and I should keep testing this cycle. I'm scheduled to go in for a progesterone check next week to see if I do ovulate. I'm just completely baffled because why am I putting out LH in my urine to get positive tests (I did another internet cheapie-not pictured- at about 1pm and it was just as dark). Today both the IC & digital were negative again --- so I don't know what to make of it. Thoughts? Anyone?

---I am temping just to verify but I went from being super excited :happydance: to being downright confused

No body has any ideas? I've search and searched and only can find people who have positive OPKs but negative progesterones... no positive OPKs but low LHs

I have no experience on it so I really can't say, but I'm with you, wishing more people would reply in the O tests.
