OPK question/timing

Hi all,

I have a question about the OPK's, hopefully someone can help me understand this.

I've been using for the past 3 cycles. Here is my dilemma. We start the BD about 5 days prior to expected OV. By the time my actual OV day comes around (according to fertilityfriend chart), DB and I are exhausted and never make it to that 5th day.

I do go by my BBT also and I feel OV pain (felt it on dpo 13), so I know we are doing BD on the day of OV. But the chart is confusing me. Are we starting too soon?

I attached my current chart. Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

I would BD every 2-3 days leading up to ovulation , once you get your + opk BD daily until confirmed ovulation.
