+ OPK... the day before/ the day AF is due

so i took an opk today and it came back with a + (see my journal - latest update for piccie)

just wondering if any ladies out there have had this happen to them and AF has showed or even better a ?

i was due AF either today or tomorrow because my lp is 11/12

I think the LH hormone is always present, so you could get a line anytime. However it wouldn't usually be positive, and I know some ladies have got +OPK then got BFP... Pregnancy can give +OPK.

I'm not an expert though so don't take my word for it!

I'd say if AF isn't there in the morning - test!!

I think an HPT would be worth a try. The positive OPK is definitely promising, but don't set your heart on it yet.

yeah i got a +opk at 12dpo so did a hpt & that was positive too & I def was pregnant as baby is here now!!! Good luck xx

my opks were getting darker by the day - the day i got my proper +opk i tested with internet cheapies AND a digital and got positives on them all
