Hi ladies,

Quick question: What time of day should I be using my OPK strip things? I just started to use them and yesterday (Sunday) I was home and able to test probably around 3pm. However today, Monday, I will be at work from 0830 until 5pm. Can I just test when I get home and call it good? I really can't test at work. I'd love your thoughts and feedback! I see a lot of people saying to test right around mid-day which would be easy if I was home... but I work 5 days a week Monday through Friday (as stated 830 -5) so that is NOT going to happen in the public 4 stall bathroom! :shy:

Thanks!

5pm should be fine :) If you're really worried about missing your surge (e.g. if you had your surge just after your previous OPK the day before) you can test with FMU and then again at 5pm.

Oops, just noticed you're already at work! I see that you're on CD6 so it would be really uncommon if you'd already had a positive OPK. Just test at 5.

Haha yes I am working currently (oops, don't tell) but thank you for your feed back! I did the first one yesterday knowing it would be negative but since I had never used them before I figured I'd do pretty much the whole month just to see if there is some trend (I'm temping as well). Thank you!!

Good luck!! When I first started OPK's 2 cycles ago, I started at CD10 or so. It never really turned positive and I stopped after CD18 I think, constantly thinking that I wish I started sooner in case I missed it, so I totally understand. It was also pretty stupid to of me to stop at CD18 as I'd probably would have gotten a positive if I'd tested a bit longer lol.
