Hi ladies! I'm a little confused on when to consider my first DPO. Hoping somebody can help me figure it out! :) Do any of you know how long your LH surge shows up on OPKs? I received a HCG trigger injection on Wednesday, tested positive on my OPK a few hours later and had a strong positive all the way through last night. I just took another OPK, it's still pretty dark, but I can definitely tell the test line is lighter than yesterday. I am trying to determine when I actually ovulated. I feel like I ovulated from 2/27 to 2/28, had very intense cramping in both ovaries and cervix was soft and very high. Still having some cramps today, but nothing like the last couple days. Should I consider today my 1DPO or 2DPO?

I appreciate any of yours help! <3

I'd consider yourself 1dpo in that case, if the test is lighter than it was yesterday that means the surge had passed and ovulation happened already. Personally, I'd rather have the extra day to wait before testing at the end of the TWW.

I'm also TTC #3 - my first two were also 13 and 15 babies!

That's what I was thinking! Thanks for your response @ManicsGirl :)

How exciting that you are also TTC #3 and that your babies are both 13 and 15! Wonder if we were on here together back then!! :) Did you have trouble ttc with either of yours? We had issues the first time around and did several Clomid treatments. Our second child was our big happy surprise that happened without any fertility assistance. <3

I didn't come on here with my second but was on quite a bit with no1, who was thankfully conceived quite easily. DD took a few cycles to catch. I'm in cycle purgatory at the moment - CD40, BFNs but no sign of AF yet, and no sure sign that I even O'd so who knows what's going on. I'd gladly welcome AF right now just so I know where I stand.

Oh no! How irritating! I am sure that's stressing you out a bit. :( Do you have pretty regular cycles normally? Maybe you need provera to get a new cycle rolling. I don't have normal cycles on my own, so I have been relying on provera to induce a period since August. We did 5 rounds of it with Letrozole (Femara) with no luck, and switched to Clomid this cycle after convincing my OB to not refer me to a specialist yet. (Our first child was a successful clomid baby) What is super weird though is this cycle, we did not induce another cycle with provera because I had started bleeding only 9DPO from our last cycle. Dr didn't want to make me bleed anymore so he basically created this current cycle. We took a break for a week to let the bleeding stop (which only lasted a total of two-three days). He started me on Clomid on Feb. 18th without Provera and called that cd3 and after going in for an ultrasound on Wednesday this week, we triggered ovulation with a HCG injection. Long story sorry, but I wonder if doing a round of Provera and Clomid would help get your cycle more regulated! And who knows, maybe it will help you conceive your baby #3! :) :)

That's really interesting, and I'll look into that. Normally I am pretty regular - 28-31 day long cycles. This month has been weird though - Lots of mid-cycle bleeding and I did quite a bit of New Year dieting/exercising and lost weight a bit too quickly which I'm worried has caused the blip.

Fingers crossed this cycle works for you so you don't have to keep on with the treatment O:)
