OPK's

Hi Ladies,

This is my first cycle using an OPK, we have been trying the more natural method for 4 cycles with no luck and growing impatience! I was wondering how other people have found them? Any success stories would be great to know to.

The first month I tried OPKs I got pregnant. It was only three months into my TTC journey, and the pregnancy ended as a chemical, but it gave me hope that they could be helpful. I haven't gotten pregnant again since then, but I think it has more to do with other factors. The months after, my darkest positive OPK (using the strips) was never quite as dark as that first time, so I think some hormone issues were causing a weak LH surge or something. I got a good positive this month, so I'm hopeful. I think there are many people who get on with TTC just fine without them... but I know that my TTC process would be a lot more frustrating if I wasn't using OPKs because my cycles aren't entirely regular. I hope they prove to be helpful for you.
