orgasms help you to concieve?

I concieved both babies without the big O. So really don't think it matters too much either way.

Hey hun-- hope you don't mind me jumping in from the other board. I spent so much time TTCing on this site, and I still like to pop over.

I've heard that the big O helps the sperm get up there, but I don't think it's really a proven science. It took DF and I a while to conceive (I wasn't OVing)-- but I never orgasmed. I just don't... So you DEFINITELY do not need to climax to get pregnant. It won't hurt your odds at all. A lot of women don't orgasm.

I was was worried about this being true too I almost always reach the big O except here lately when I'm ovutlating and I'm doing the baby dance I think because I'm concentrating too much on having my OH reach his peak and making sure those little spermy can swim, so this month I've done it both ways once with me reaching the big O and once without just to play it safe.

Well, I hope O-ing beforehand helps girl sperm. Just did that, and maybe it'll work....Both my boys were concieved sans O.
