My grandmother's names are/were Martha and Julia Aurora. My great grandma had a crazy middle name, her name was Carmen Ciriaca. OH's grandma's name is Linora Ethel and great grandma was Mae Irene.
OH is currently working on her family tree...so here go some more-

My grandmothers were May and Gillian. Gillian sounds strange now but with the trend for older names I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the top 100 within a few years. Can be shortened to Lily or Anna too.
My grandpa was Vyvyan but I like this for a girl too.
Aunties aren't too exciting: Mary, Claire, Anne, Juliet
My grandmothers and DH's American grandmother were:
Frances
Charlotte
Norma

We were very similar regarding name choices; didn't want anything too popular but didn't want a faddy name. So we went with penny. I personally loved it for a long time and we r still yet to meet another one her age! I have met one in her 20s and one in her 40s. I like the fact it's the right side of unusual-not too unusual for people to be able to spell but not popular enough for there to be 5 in her class!
My grandmothers' names are Margaret and Marilyn. I like the names Evelyn and Madeline but DH doesn't like them. I feel like we are going to have a difficult time deciding on names, too!
My grandmothers are Doris, Diane, and Amanda. My husband only has one, Donola -- very different.
Wanda is a grandparent to one of my cousins. My great grandparents were Clara and Molly. We had Molly picked for a girl if that's what we were having.
I have a great aunt named Beulah (b-you-lah) and ever since I can remember I've loved her name.
