Thanks for all of the replies so far, there are some great names there :)

I love Hattie and Hettie but with our surname its a no-go :-(

Loving the old fashioned names. Another I heard recently, so cute...Minnie (although I cant not think of Minnie Mouse everytime I say it!)

My grandmothers were May and Gillian. Gillian sounds strange now but with the trend for older names I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the top 100 within a few years. Can be shortened to Lily or Anna too.

My grandpa was Vyvyan but I like this for a girl too.

Aunties aren't too exciting: Mary, Claire, Anne, Juliet

The 'old lady names' in my family:
Marjorie

Eleanor
Georgia

The rest have Welsh or Gaelic names but I can list them too haha.

We were very similar regarding name choices; didn't want anything too popular but didn't want a faddy name. So we went with penny. I personally loved it for a long time and we r still yet to meet another one her age! I have met one in her 20s and one in her 40s. I like the fact it's the right side of unusual-not too unusual for people to be able to spell but not popular enough for there to be 5 in her class!

My grandmothers' names are Margaret and Marilyn. I like the names Evelyn and Madeline but DH doesn't like them. I feel like we are going to have a difficult time deciding on names, too!

My grandmothers are Doris, Diane, and Amanda. My husband only has one, Donola -- very different.
Wanda is a grandparent to one of my cousins. My great grandparents were Clara and Molly. We had Molly picked for a girl if that's what we were having.
I have a great aunt named Beulah (b-you-lah) and ever since I can remember I've loved her name.

Rosalie, Violet, Dotty, Ottilie, Amber, Claudia, Matilda,

Grandmothers are Joan, Beryl, Rose, Rosalina

Mine and OH's grandmas are/were called Brenda, Ann, Gisla, Margarite and Joyce.
