So as the big day approaches I thought I would like to share with everyone what we have packed in our little one's hospital bag so far. We have a lot of stuff packed, but as a FTM I would rather take the stuff and not need it , then to need it and not have it. (Hospital is 1 1/2 - 2 hours away from home, so no quick trip there.) Also in the unlikely event of a C-Section I will be stuck in hospital a week so would like to be prepared. :)

Sorry about picture sizes. :/ I take the pictures with my i phone and don't know how to resize them, so they are all pretty big.

All clothing is size newborn, as I do not think she will be a very big baby, and the newborn clothing looks huge! Of course if she does need bigger clothing, or diapers husband can go to the store and get something, but I honestly think that this will be good for now. :)

Still have to buy:

Breast Pump

Thank you :) We haven't decided on a coming home outfit either, just with the respect that it will be one of the ones that are packed,It is so cold here that It is going underneath her snow suit, so it is really not going to be seen after we leave the hospital. :/ Maybe her snow suit is considered her coming home outfit :haha: :)

We still have to buy the lotions, powders and hand sanatizer. That will be got on our next trip to the store. :) Pacifiers are in the little pink bag, and the clips to keep them from falling off and getting dirty <3 I am only taking 2 pacifiers though. Figure the hospital will probably give her a load of them anyway <3

Our hospital provides awesome breast pumps if you need them in the hospital... They just open up all new tubes, etc for them. I ended up renting one from them for home as I liked it so well. (as another option for those who don't want to lug their breast pump around- you might want to ask if they have them.)

Looks like you packed the whole nursery, haha. I had a nice-sized bag with me as well (even had tons of snacks) but didn't even open it until the day after he was born. Used one of his outfits for pictures and an outfit for me to go home in. That was about it, haha.

I forgot to ask. I will have to ask at my next appointment. I know that I am on the list to rent an electric one from the WIC office, but they only have one, and so if someone else higher on the list needs it I will be stuck. :/ If I could just rent one from the hospital until the one we are buying arrives that would be wonderful <3 It is an Army Hospital so they may or may not provide such awesome services as that. <3

Hopefully that is how it will be with us, but for now it's like better to be safe than sorry. <3 I am so excited! I can't believe she will be here so soon! <3

Awww lovely bags, I am doing mine tomorrow

I'm not planning on being in hosital too long, don't have any forseeable problems and if we forget anything the hospital is only 15-20 mins away. We have:

- 3 vests
- 3 sleepsuits
- coming home outfit (matching vest, top, trousers and shoes)
- 2 hats
- 2 set scratch mits
- blanket
- 8 nappies
- 1 pack babywipes

Don't think I need anything else. Planning on breast feeding so not taking bottles with me. Just my bag left to finish sorting out now :)

XxX

Wow!!! You have packed A lot!!!!! Does the hospital not provide much for you? I will send a pic of what I have in my bag...plus I am bringing my breast pump with me and pacifiers, headbands, a couple hats, mittens, two onsies, and little pants that match one of the onsies, and socks ( I don't think those things are in the pics ) :)
