Yeh thanks Hun I just felt like I’ve let him down , still feel emotional about it today , more annoyed I went against my gut feeling

She hasn’t give me measurements for DS just a chart where she has plotted .

OMG Wow that’s an amazing difference already . The shape has totally changed ! That’s fantastic I’m totally amazed to be honest!

I know our results will be slower because of his age etc but I hope we get some improvement quick! Soon as I see him coming back into the moderate : mild range I will feel much better.

I think the HV and GPS etc need to take a different approach to this and say if your worried you can go here ... etc .. it’s no skin of their noses to do that !!!

Definitely hun! No dont say that your results will be slower hun that's definitely not the case at all! We obviously caught a big growth spurt with the helmet, even my specialist said 7mm after two weeks is just ridiculous haha but im part of a facebook group for babies in helmets, and the one girl started treatment for her son around his first birthday, and after her 2 week check he was down 5mm! So very close to Enzos measurement but a big difference in age! So don't think for one minute it will definitely take much longer because of his age, you just never know! X

I’ve just not seen many kids starting at his age when googling ( good ole google .. not lol) !! I am very hopeful we will see good results either way and the specialist seemed confident too !

I think I just need to get over the mummy guilt and know I am doing the best by him and them all !

Haha Enzo deffo hit that growth spurt at the right time that’s for sure ! I’m looking forward to seeing how they both progress over the next few months too !!

Don't feel guilty hun, it can always get corrected! You've done the right thing! I'm glad I trusted my gut, because I wasn't going to do anything about it either! I'm on the plagiocephaly support group UK if you join that one on Facebook x

Thats okay hun! Your welcome to high jack my thread, but im sure you will make your own anyway! Haha! No hun its monthly now, they only do a check up after 2 weeks at first to make sure there's no problems, after that if all is good you go monthly x

Hahah I am kinda confused about the same thing too !! All I know is the crinal index relates to how flat the back of the head is compared with its width (something like that hahaha ) . Not sure on the asymmetry haha .
We prob got told all this but it’s like information overload !! Either way it’s fantastic news !!

Did you get a graph with the helmet ? That’s what specialist uses when she’s recording his measurements . I’d sssume we get a full report or something at the end of the treatment !
