Can you get them while pregnant i am getting pains on my left side occasionally i have had scans so no eptopic.

Corpus luteum cyst are a common cause of pain near the ovary during pregnancy. It is good to hear the scan showed the baby in the right place..great news!

Hi i have a cyst on my left ovary, which has caused me some pain. I was terrified when I first felt it as I had ectopic in March this year. But a very early scan showed baby in correct place and cyst on ovary. The sonographer (sp) said it was very common and lucky apparently as it releases extra hormones? Don't know if that's true or she was trying to reassure me. x

Should i bother ringing the epu or midwife about it? It can be quite uncomfortable when i get the pain x
