Someone once said something similar about my eldest when he was a baby. It was my OH's ex. She said (on loudspeaker on the phone) that I was just jealous because "her son was gorgeous and my kid was ugly." Then she said, "she'll be upset because she knows its true".
I went to bed and cried for hours. I'll never forget how hurt I was.

Oh wow ladies. Thank you so much. I wasn't expecting so many people to care. I mostly posted to get it out of my system as I was fuming and didn't want to take it out on hubby or someone else. I am now awake at 5:48 am after feeding my daughter crying with happiness because you are all so sweet.

I know she may not be beautiful to everyone but no one should ever say a baby is ugly and allow the parent to see or hear it. If you really feel that way keep it to yourself right?

Anyways feeling better right one. Got a big smile when I went to feed Ava and that just melts my insides as much as all your lovely responses.

As for the other friend she said nothing and messages me she was sorry someone said that and that she had also deleted the "friend" and removed the post from her wall. Good to know who my real friends are.
