I am currently 14dpiui. I had a trigger of Ovidrel 16 days ago and a 2nd booster shot of Ovidrel 9 days ago (5dpiui). I started testing 6 days past my 2nd Ovidrel. I know it was too early but I wanted to see if it would go out of my system or if it would start getting darker. I keep getting BFPs but I'm so worried they aren't real. FYI about this cycle....I used injectibles and had 3 good follicles. Had IUI on cd14. Today is cd 28. I had my progesterone checked 7 days after iui/ovulation and it was >120. I also had some mild OHSS last week which is now mostly gone.

I have 2 pictures attached. The first are the cheapie Wondfo tests starting with 11dpiui/6dp booster ovidrel. The last 2 are from today (14dpiui/9dp booster ovidrel), one in the morning and the last one is from the afternoon (it got darker).

2nd picture is of FRER I took today. Top one (lighter) is from this morning 14dpiui/9dp booster ovidrel. Bottom one (darker) is from this afternoon

What do you think?? I'm supposed to wait until 18dpiui to get a blood test at my RE but I'm going crazy!!

I also took a Clearblue digital preg test this afternoon and it said "pregnant".

Do you think this could still be the Ovidrel? It's only been 9 days since i had the booster shot of it. I've read most are out of your system between 6-10 days. I figured my tests would be getting lighter but they aren't. I just don't know if this is a false BFP.

I wouldn't say it was the trigger shot, after 9 days it wouldn't be in your system or would be such a tiny amount it wouldn't give a positive on a digi. Congrats that's a :bfp:

Here's this mornings tests. Today I'm 10 days past my ovidrel booster and 15 dpiui. My dr office won't let me come in for bloodwork for 3 more days in case it's still positive from the Ovidrel shot. Really?? How can this still be the shot and be this dark?

FRER looks a little darker in person than yesterdays but it's hard to tell in the picture. The newest Wondfo is on the far left. It's definitely a little darker today.

Looks to me like you have a good chance.

I have done 3 IUIs and I can tell you that my trigger (not Ovidrel) lasted over 14 days. My first IUI the same thing happened to me, the trigger never went away but my tests started to get darker (unfortunately for me it was a chemical, not saying yours is at all). Just be careful with those trigger shots, they can last a lot longer than what they say they can. But my fingers are crossed for you I really think you may have something baking in there!!!

Here is my thread on the trigger from a few months ago.

Thanks :)
Oh yes, I know how these evil triggers work. They are awful, aren't they?! I've been trying to get pregnant for a few years. This was IUI #14...yes 14. It's sad but we've stuck with it. Some cycles I go pee stick crazy while others not so much. I've done this booster trigger shot thing 3 other cycles (I take my trigger 2 days before IUI then a booster 5 days after IUI) and tested 2 of those cycles, but my tests were never this dark and for this long. I'm still sooo scared this is just the trigger, thats why I was hoping for some opinions. I'm so sorry to hear yours was a chemical :( I really hope that isn't my case too. Thanks for your support!!

Nah, I don't think yours is at all. That's why I wanted to be sure to tell you that. WOW 14! I did 3 and that was enough for me (for now) its so stressful for me. Injections, ultrasounds, all that just too much. We have been trying for over 2 years now to no avail.
:(
I would say, my personal opinion is that if the tests aren't what your tests normally look like I think that is a very good sign. I know with my first IUI I actually questioned the chemical but then with my other two IUIs the tests never got darker just always lighter lighter.

Anyways I can't wait to see updates for you!

No matter how many IUIs you've done, it's a toll on you, physically and emotionally. This infertility bs is something no one should ever have to deal with. I'm sorry you too have had to go through this but don't give up!!!
It'll be 3 years this summer of ttc for us. Spent a year on our own, a year at the first RE (8 IUIS), then switched to my RE i have now which is where i found out the problems I had...diagnosed with moderate endometriosis (stage III) and pcos. My word of advice is get a second opinion if you think there is something else going on. It was the best decision I ever made!

On my second cycle of Injections with Ovidrell was awful. I tested out the Ovidrell and despite getting AF and a scan showing no conception had taken place, the Ovidrell was still giving me varying shades of false positives. I would stop testing so you don't drive yourself crazy and wait for your blood work, it's more likely to be a pregnancy than not but until you know for definite every test will play games on your mind.

Fingers crossed for you.

P.S. I completely understand how frustrating it is when you have been TTC for such a long time. It took us 4.5 years.

It's so hard to say....i hate those trigger shots. Mine last about 18-20 days. When I test it out of my system, it gets progressively lighter and then levels out and stays just about the same darkness for a week or so and then eventually starts to get lighter again. And for some reason the afternoon tests are always slightly darker than the morning tests.

It's hard to say with trigger shots. I had a pregnyl trigger on cd10 which is also when I ovulated and then had ovidrel boosters on cd12 and cd15. I tested on cd24 as I felt weird and got faint lines, I then tested each day until cd28 which is when I had betas drawn. My FRER's got darker each day and also got a + on a digital. Until I got the betas though, I still didn't 100% believe it though.

Good Luck to you :)

My test this morning is pretty dark!!! Will post a pic later :) Beta is in 2 days.

This morning's test. There is no way this is the trigger shot anymore.
