Ovidrel when already naturally ovulating..??

This is my first IUI cycle with Clomid days 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. I have my CD12 u/s Sunday 10/26. I am just curious as I see most women only do the trigger if they don't naturally ovulate. Does anyone else use the trigger shot when they already ovulate? Will the injection override my natural ovulation?

Hi MKAC2005 - I am also in the process of doing my first IUI. I was on Follistim until yesterday and I just injected the Ovidrel. Yes, I ovulate naturally, but doctor still prescribes it. It helps your eggs to mature and release. You take it based on when the doctor wants you to for best or max results. Good Luck!
