Ovulating after miscarriage

I had an ERPC on Monday and am now having a very light brown discharge. Hardly anything really but just a tiny bit. Anyway, today, I've had this slight cramping feeling in my lower stomach, similar to ovulation pain. Is it possible I could be ov'ing already? I'm sure it isn't and that it's just my body going back to normal but I was wondering if anyone else had had this so soon after ERPC?

Anything is possible Susan, but I would honestly believe that it is more likely to be contractions as your uterus shrinks back into shape....as of course it becomes many times larger than its non-pregnant size already.

I had these contractions, similar to Ov pain, after both my successful and my non-successful pregnancies, so I would say they are a good bet.

Ov is usually, not always, but usually delayed for a week or so. It basically takes your body a few days to realise it has to get on with a cycle and then go through it.

Hope you are doing Ok though. Have you tested neg on a HPT yet? Why not get yourself some OPK's lined up for testing, They worked fine for me once I'd had a neg HPT (I Ov'd 2 days ago and my ERPC was 10/12/08)

Oooh, so you could be pregnant already? Let's hope so! I do think it's probably just growing (or shrinking) pains. I haven't re-tested yet. Might try tomorrow morning. I gave in today and ordered myself 15 OPKs and 5 pregnancy tests (although I still have about 3 OPKs from last time). I really want to get my BFN soon. And I really hope I'm not ovulating now as I don't think we can BD yet as I still have some slight brownish discharge. And I know the doctor said not to start having sex again until the bleeding had completely stopped. I'm going to wait until it's all clear before we try again, although I'm really eager to get going again. It seems like forever since we had any form of sexual contact, gets a bit frustrating, especially as we haven't actually had sex since I found out I was pregnant (23 October!!!). We just didn't feel comfortable with it when I was pregnant but if and when it happens again, we're not going to go without again. We need to carry on as normal.

amen to that girls i havent since oct either as we have not felt right about it, since the mc, but now my erpc has been succeful and the bleeding has stopped we are all systems go so to speak.

i have had the same pains as too i think its just our bodies getting back to normal.

We've been at it like a couple of teenagers (no offense to any teenagers).....in fact, I'm sure its actually way more fun than it was, for some reason!

hi susan, i ovd 14 days exactly after bleeding started and 14 days after that af came, i ovd just after i stopped bleeding!!!! with a d & c the hormones leave your body quicker so anything is possible!!

Today when I went to the loo, I had what seemed like fertile CM, or the kind of CM you get just before EWCM. I think there is still a touch of a brownish colour to it at the moment so I think I have to hold off baby making for a day or 2 more then I'll probably be ready.
