Hello Ladies,

Please can anyone help with my question.

I have a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and dye test on 16th January and they found mild endometriosis, which they removed. I had my period a week and a half after, which was a couple of days earlier than planned but mostly it was normal. I am now on CD14 and have no signs of ovulation, my fertility monitor shows just a high and I took Clomid CD 3-7. Normally every month I peak on the monitor on either CD12 or 13 but not this month.

Do you think it is a result of the lap or do you think I could just ovulate a little later? It really depresses me as we were really going for it this month after lap and it seems I am not ovulating at all!! :(

Grrrrrr trying to conceive for so long and nothing, nada, siltch!

:)

Hi Laura

I had my Lap in December and after my first (also early) period, I ovulated over a week late. My doc did blood tests to confirm this and said it is pretty normal to delay ovulation and subsequently your second period. I was not allowed to try anyways due to the amount of work done.

Thanks so much for replying, my doctor gave me no advice on what to expect after so your reply really helped. Perhaps I will ovulate a little later in the month then (I hope). Poor DH, he will be all worn out by the end of the month!! :)

So what I am trying to say is you could still be in the running. Keep peeing on those sticks!

Yeah, in the end I was almost two weeks late. I must add that I do ovulate naturally so not sure if the clomid has any other effects.

Don't think it does, I ovulate on my own according to my doctor but he gave me Clomid to try and boost it but I tried it for 4 months and nothing. I am going back to see him for my post op on 3rd of March and he has said he is going to up the Clomid does and add another fertility drug as well. I'll be as high as kite by the end of it all!!
