ovulation bleeding?

The past 2 cycles I have had spotting and brown/pink blood about a week and a half before I seem to ovulate. My cycles are long and irregular, but have been improving with the use of agnus castus

Last cycle I wasn't doing opks as we were away at the in law's, but the dates seem to add up. This cycle I got a positive opk on sunday and had the bleeding roughly a week and a half before.

I understand some women do seem to get ovulation bleeding, but such a length of time before getting a positive opk is worrying me a bit.

I've tried to get an appointment with the Dr, but because she books up so far in advance her next available one is right when af will be here (if the opk is correct), so I need to wait until af starts before I get back in touch to book with her.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar?

I had ovulation bleeding each cycle i got pregnant oddly. But it was the day of ovulation and 2 days after of barely light pink tinged mucus. (My sig isn't up to date for pregnancies, whoops). Hope you can get some answers!
