Ovulation spotting or wacky cycle?

I have irregular periods last period arrived early, this time I had spotting (one time) about a week after my period pink/creamy cm. The next day I noticed cm was turning ew/fertile so I dtd. Has anyone had this happen to them? Today my cm seems more sticky less ew but we will see.
