hey all i have been TTC 3+ years etc....

anyways was on clomid 50mg for 6months and got pregnant but was suspcted etcopic anyways back on it again for 2 months, this is our first month on it again 150mg, since june been ovulating myself and took 150mg day 3 - 7 usually ovulate CD 14-15, on CD 14 and not even getting faint lines on ovulationg tests or anything....

what the hell is going on?

i'm not getting any scans or anything for this as its only "take and see what happens" type of thing while we wait on IUI.... i was really hoping this would help us but seems to have really set us back....

how is this possible?

anyone got any advice or help?? i am really going mental about this!

Dont panic hun, it may very well be that its pushed your ov back, Im either not going to ov or its pushed mine back as well so really understand how your feeling xxx

thanks will try just the lines are getting lighter and lighter and now they are gone  my monitor usually shows increase and its picking up nothing so kinda worried, plus was meant to ovulate tomorrow so throw at my OH's stressing him out when it might be too early :(

Don't worry, on clomid I never ovulated earlier than CD 18, usually it was closer to CD 20! Higher doses like that can often push back ovulation and lengthen your cycles.

okay thank you just worried myself as never had this problem being on clomid last time.

Hi i've been on 2 cycles of clomid now at 100mg. I usually O myself around cd16 but with the first cycle i o'ed late on cd 18 or 19 then with the second cycle i O'ed sometime after cd22 cause i had a bollod test on cd22 that said i hadn't O'ed. My FS said that clomid can make your cycle longer as the clomid helps your body to mature the egg and thats what take longer. My FS is also an IVF specialist with Sydney IVF one of the top IVF clinic's in Australia.
So i think that longers cycles are normal on higher doses of clomid.

thanks hun thats really put my mind at rest, my sides are in agony now so think i am going to ovulate after all but we'll see its on my left side where i have no tube though so not sure that anything will really happen i just got to hope the right one is working but without the pain can't remember which ovary is biggest and which one is small and hardly works. hoping that the left side is harding because its trying to work not actually working and the right one not so sore because its working alright .... can hope anyways.
