Pain in ovaries?

Hi Ladies,

I have PCOS, and small fibroid. Recently (for the past 3 weeks) I have been getting pains on my right and left ovaries (I think it is the ovaries because its around that area). The pain is sharp for few seconds, sometimes its just an uncomfortable cramp.

Has anybody experienced this or similar?

I have PCOS too, and I notice quite a bit of pain near my ovaries (primarily the left one). It seems to happen mostly around the time I think they are trying to make an egg, which can sometimes last up to 3 weeks.

I was also experimenting, and it seems the pain is worse when I eat more carbs. And the less carbs I eat, the less pain I noticed. Not sure if they are related, but I am curious if others had the same sort of connection?

Omg thats same with me. I just noticed that few days ago actually. I noticed that when I have less carb I dont really feel much carb but when I ate a lot of carb then the pain came.. I am assuming its the carb because that the only thing that changed in my diet thereafter I got the pain.

wow! I am so excited you noticed the same thing!! Let me know if you find anything about it while researching! I think it would make sense, as PCOS is primarily caused by the insulin stimulating our ovaries... right? I am still trying to figure this PCOS thing out. I recently ovulated (only took 8 weeks into my cycle this time) and carbs don't seem to cause any pain now; it only happens before ovulation.
