Hello. I've been trying to maintain some version of exercise during my pregnancy.
I used to run once a week and do pilates DVD's twice a week. Recently I've cut out the running as my heart rate shoots up and I get very hot.
I've bought some pregnancy pilates DVDs which are not as easy as you would think! After doing these, the stretching pains around my uterus seem to get worse. I don't feel like I'm over doing it and they should be safe exercises but I really feel it when I've done them, and I'm worried about these uterus pains.

Are they nothing to worry about or should I be taking it even easier?

I exercise regularly, since I found out that I am pregnant I have just toned down my workouts, but basically do the same stuff. I find that my stomach muscles get sore easily (and I am NOT doing any kind of ab work). Also find that I get a twinge in my uterus from even doing simple things like sneezing or even sometimes just standing up too quickly. If it really worries you, ask your doctor about it.

It's normal. I would get cramps just walking to the other side of the house. I cut excersise till 12 weeks cause I hated getting the pains. But they did go away after a certain point in pregnancy.

Thanks ladies. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow so might mention to them but it sounds like its a normal thing.
