Hey girls, just wondering if anyone else is like me? Lol. For the last few days I've been experiencing period pains throughout the night. Not painful or anything but noticable. Thing is, I barely feel anything during the day. It's literally only at night, lower stomach/lower back and tops of legs. Every night & morning I wake up wishing something has happened lol. Any of you only feeling something on a night or is or just me?

Thanks
Laura :) x

I've been getting the same thing babe... i think maybe we are starting to engage? When i was at my appointment yesterday the midwife commented on how much she had moved! xox

At 34 weeks I was told LO was starting to engage. Bloody midwife didn't check again at last appointment so I'm not sure where LO is now! I've got to wait till next Monday till my next appointment to find out :( midwifes are bloody useless!!

yep ive had this aswell its quite odd isnt it!
strange how ive had nothing during the day then in the evenin ive had aches, cramps and really strong BH which hav been painful at times.... then nothing  sucks dont it.

p.s. bubs was 4/5 engaged at 31wks and has been 3/5 engaged since 34 wks!

I have been getting this for a few weeks now, and i really only notice it at night. So I thought maybe it had something to do with laying down or the position I was in. But lately Ive notices that sometimes during the day when I have some quiet time and I'm sitting still, I'll notice them during the day too. Maybe it's just that for the majority of the day we are too busy and active to notice that were having them? Im not sure what they are though, because my LO hasnt engaged as of last Wednesday when I had my last appointment. When I told my doctor about them she said thats what contractions feel like, only theyll get so strong that theyll take your breath away. So I'm still (pretty impatiently) waiting for mine to get stronger and turn into real labour!

I have this too hun, guess its everything revving up for the big day.. Im like you tho, and hoping its something more, but it never mounts to anything, just period pain :(

Oooh that's good to hear - that that's what contractions feel like. Obviously mild ones though! Lol. Just makes you think it might not be to much longer! But then again you said you've been experiencing them for a a few weeks! Lol. Took dog for a walk earlier & really noticed some strong tightenings! But since I've been home theres been nothing. Well until now, the period pains are back as it's night time lol. But other than that - nothing!

Me too... period pains, going to the loo lots (feels like I have a upset tummy), aches and lots of waddling... then come morning - nothing!!!!! All seems to happen late evening and during the night!

Thought it was just me!! x

No definately not just you my love! I'm glad it's not just me either! Lol x

Yea i was pretty excited to hear that too. And then last weekend I had a pretty convincing false labour with 10 hours of contractions getting closer together and stronger...but then they faded away and now I only get 2-3/hour. The doctor thinks that since my LO isnt dropping that I will go over and may even have to be induced :-/ I dont know what it is about walking but I get crazy amounts of tightenings when I'm walking (which I've been doing a lot of lately trying to get little miss Audrey to drop down!) Must be something in the movement. Hopefully your cramps lead to something more than mine have so far! ;)
