PAL - after using CBFM?

Hi ladies,

I just wondered how many of us are pregnant after loss and used a CBFM?

Also out of interest what cycle of CBFM use did you fall pregnant on?

My CBFM is a loan from the lovely Tulip

I got caught on second cycle of using it but I'm classing it as my first real cycle as hubby was out of the country during my peak days in cycle 1.

As you know, 2nd cycle for me but the previous AF was a clearout beeyatch from hell so I'm counting it as first 'proper' too. (I'm fairly convinced I ov'd on cycle 1 but my body hadn't fully let go of Ruby's lining) x

Hey lovely ladies!!!

I used it too! Buuut, i wouldn't count the number of cycles it took me as hubby was living abroad for nearly 4 months so we would have needed a miracle and not a CBFM to have conceived then!! I still used it then as my periods were haywire after the MMC and i wanted to follow my cycle without charting.

My cycles were anywhere between 25 and 34 days so I loved knowing when i was fertile or not. I recommend it to anyone who asks.

3 cycles for me - but my 2nd cycle we didn't get a peak and ended up bding every day from cd9 - cd26 - was a tiring cycle that one!

Tried it for 3 cycles got BFP but lost, another 1 cycle got BFP but ectopic, had 2 month break on it, started again for 2 cycles and got BFP so approx 6 cycles.

I bought it ready to use and then found out I was pregnant the day after it arrives.

Cycle 5 for me, I also never had a low reading on it

Wow that's excellent! I love how things like this happen - like a good version of 'sods law'

I had just bought a brand new box of the test strips for CBFM when I got my BFP! lol

What an interesting thread, Beadette! I used CBFM for 2 cycles immediately after our loss and boom! BFP!

There were a dozen other things we were doing, like acupuncture and Robitussin and (ugh) giving up coffee and alcohol, but it was much faster with all this stuff than without it - it took us 9 months the first time!
