we used huggies on alex when he was little

now hes getting bigger we have found that pampers are better for him

he is 20lb 10oz and is in a size 4

:hugs:

I am so glad I dont use disposables anymore LOL
My 5yr old leaked all the time with pampers, hated them. He leaked in huggies but not as much. I think I tried dozens of brands on him and none were leakproof, most leaked up his back all the time.

we found huggies suit us best. pampers leaked out the front when she lies on her tummy.

I find everytime I need to go up a size I have to switch between the two brands for some weird reason one type fits him better at certain stages

I am still undecided.

OK, Anna is only 3.5months so not been using nappies for such a long time, but we have used Huggies/Pampers/Asda/Tesco own brand. We use Pampers the most as I great offers on jumbo boxes that I picked up while pregnant. I have not noticed a difference really, but Anna is moving to size 3 soon and Huggies size 2 are snug but Pampers still have a bit of room left.:flower:

yep i definatly notice that pampers seem to be bigger-or just stretch more but pampers were too big and huggies fit perfectly in the size 2's when we first went into them even tho pampers were from a lighter weight? wierd...

Stuff 'em both - Lidl's own brand (Toujours) are brilliant and cost half as much! I particularly hated Pampers when LO was waking nights, because they've got a picture on the back as well as on the front, which is all you need when you're trying to get a nappy on the right way round by a fifteen-watt bulb at three o'clock in the morning.

I was a devoted huggies-er...I had the diapers, the wash, the lotion etc.... when LO started on size 3 I couldn't get huggies in bulk at the time and the pampers size 3 were about $45 cheaper. I tried them and didn't like them at first, but later I realised they were quite nice. There softer and the tabs are stretchier. I later had someone give me size 3 huggies movers as a gift and tried those. They were rougher, not as stretcy and her poo and pee leaked out the sides :growlmad:.... I realised then I no longer preferred huggies for her. I'm quite happy with the pampers brand and my GF uses them on her son as well and loves them. The only thing I would prefer is if the pampers had the elasticated waistband like the huggies do, that fits better at the back of the waist:thumbup:...I'm now trying to get pampers size 4 for her. I like them...

We use pampers with Bryson. Huggies were very leaky and they don't hold in odor like the pampers do. Bryson is in size 3 pampers and they fit perfectly everywhere. I love pampers!

We used Huggies size 1, 2 & 3. We just switched to size 4 and they started leaking so have swapped to pampers size 4 and had no problems!! xx

Lily is nearly 16 lbs, and we have yet to have any leaks with Pampers. We had several leaks when we used Huggies.

we use huggies for Leo.
Pampers leaked badly and caused really bad nappy rash and this is the same as what happened with my other son when he was little - I cant use any pampers products on my boys without them causing irritation.

Its def amazing to see the responses here and i do agree that the main users of pampers that i know all have girls and huggies users are all boys.

We started out with a small pack of Huggies which were great, and moved to Pampers because we had 3 boxes of 98 from baby event before she was born plus a box given, we are just coming up to the end of the last box and we have a box of Huggies ready because the pampers leak poop every time out the legs.

I realise that the next size up the nappies change in the way they work so I will get another box of Pampers next size and see how they compare to the Huggies equivalent. I have a baby girl.
