Now that the constant nausea has gone away.. I am feeling so dehydrated, and have been just downing water without relief... :-/

Anyone else? Any tips on feeling hydrated again?

Same here! I just keep drinkng lots of water with ice and eating fruit and vegetables with a high water content like tomatoes, cucumber and melon. Our bodies are probably telling us they need the water both for the extra blood volume and the smniotic fluid so dont ignore the thirst :)

Sorry to say that's how I was with my first and it never went away, all through the 10 months plus the next 13 of BFing. It will give you a healthy baby though so just keep chugging!

I drained four giant glasses of ice water at dinner tonight. DH simply looked at me and raised his eyebrow. I smiled right back and asked him to pass me his glass of water, which then I promptly drained.

I'm glad that I have this symptom and not nausea! :flower:

I have finally kicked the nausea, and feel somewhat normal. I switched it up this morning and got some apple juice to drink :) Just needed something other than water. I also grabbed some fruit from the stores salad bar, that seems to be helping a bit. The bad thing about living in Alaska is the good fresh fruit is few and far between in the winter. I think I am going to pick up a thing of grapes for home though.

Good to see you again on these forums aknqtpie. I hope all is well with you and going well in your pregnancy.

Thanks mummy! Things are going good so far. We saw the baby at 8+2 and it measured ahead and the heart was just going :) I go in next week for my NT Scan, excited to see the baby again.

I don't realise how thirsty I am until I start drinking and then I finish a whole bottle of water in one go or a pint of juice...not like me at all.
waiting for some more symptoms though other than this tiredness and cramps....I want it all then i'll know all is a-ok!!! :flower:

why isn't my ticker working properly?

You are using html code rather than BB Code in your ticker. Go back to the place that generated your ticker and they should have the option for BB Code.
