Parents with 4.5-5yr age gaps between siblings

I have a 3.3 yrs age gap and its ok. Sometimes its really stressful as my eldest can be super hard work, he was an easy 2 yr old, but really has been hit by terrible 3's. So I do think had we waited one more year, meaning my eldest was at school, then it would have been much easier. I'm hoping to have a 3rd, and I'm not sure what gap we will go for this time. But I'm defo considering a 4 yr gap, my youngest is an august baby so will be only just 4 yrs when he starts school. X x

That is interesting - I always wondered what a 3 and a bit age gap would be like. If I conceived now like I'd like to then that's what we'd have.

I have heard of some kids having a terrible threes instead of twos - I am really hoping that we are just having the twos but we're still struggling with tanties now so who knows really!

I hope your littlest guy has an easier threes stage for you x

Oh yes!! I couldnt have coped had he bn younger and needed me more. The twins have had colic reflux and are lactose intolerant so spent first 13wks screaming wanting to be held while my hubby worked til 9 @ night. How i never had a nervous breakdown is beyond me.

That must have been a crazy 13 weeks, I hope they are more settled now. I think having twins must be lovely, you must be busy, but they'd be so much fun once you get past the teeny tiny stressful stage (I think OH would be petrified to have twins though )
