Hello ladies,
I was hoping to find more of you that have partners with none or low sperm.
I'm 30 and my OH is 29 and we've been trying for just over 2 years now. I'm still to have lap and dye and ultrasound but so far everything looks normal. However, my OH SA was not great first time around. 3 mill per ml but with average motility. He was then referred for an ultrasound and they found a varicocele in his testi's. We are now waiting for proper results and where to go from here...not sure if they do surgery as we were also told varicocele's are harmless...(but linked to infertility).
It all came as a bit of a shock as he's managed to conceive with previous partners....
I hope it could be a way to increase sperm counts as I'm terrified of the IVF route....which we were told before the found the varicocele's that was our only option. Anyone know much about varicoceles?
Does anyone know what the sperm count is meant to be to qualify for IUI? (that seems less scary).
Any experiences, thoughts, sharing, success stories appreciated.
