Hi girls :flower:
I've been TTC for 3 years and I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago.
I'm now 2 and a half weeks late for AF which is the latest I have ever been! I of course got my hopes up thinking I could be pg, like we all do :dohh:
But I've been testing now everyday for 2 weeks and I'm getting faint positives (i'll attatch pictures, so you can see what I mean by faint)
BUT as I'm 2 and a half weeks late shouldn't my lines be way darker by now?!
Does anyone know if PCOS can affect the HCG in your urine? I'm sooo confused and frustrated :cry:

hi, the FRER looks positive. did you O later than you thought ? they are quite faint
i think "normal" can be faint - some people's bodies dont show BFP's well apparently (Dr Google says) though i think it would be worth seeing a doctor just in case, maybe get a blood test to confirm and make sure if it is a true positive, that everything is ok
I dont think PCOS causes false positives, but i think it is a risk for ectopic ?
fingers crossed for you

Thank you hun :)
I've got a doctors appt booked for monday. I've got everything crossed that this is finally it! x

PCOS is so confusing! You would think that with all of the medical innovation today someone could come up with a cure for it. To answer your question, yes, women with PCOS are forced to wait for that positive test. It might take being six weeks past o to see a dark positive. In the meantime, just keep taking your vitamins everyday with plenty of folic acid. FX'd for you.

Hi, to TTCabundle, this is not entirely on the subject. But just wondering what were your symptoms (if any) for PCOS? And how exactly were you diagnosed or treated? I only ask because it's a fear of mine and have yet to be tested for it.
