Hi Ladies, not been on here in a while - I am posting for a friend in desperate need of answers.
She has been LTTTC for 5 years - 3 MCs, IUI treatment and countless tests etc. Last Monday one of her ferility blood tests showed she was strongly oving, but this morning she has an extremely strong BFP!?!? And it's VERY positive. She last DTD 19 days ago - she has PCOS and is wondering if that could cause a false PG test?? or could the blood test showing ov from one of the top private clinics be wrong?? Please could anyone share if there are any similar experienes. May thanks in advance

I dont have pcos but i dont think it would cause a false positive.

A positive is a positive. Pcos does not make the hcg hormone. I would say your friend needs to see the doctor ASAP to see if she needs progesterone supplements and a beta blood test.

PCOS would NOT give her a false positive. I don't know if something else could have caused it but not many things can cause someone to get a false positive, especially not PCOS. Good luck.
