Pcos girls or irregular cycle girls please help!

Hello there!

Im going crazy here so I would appriciate any advice/help/experience that you had before.
I have pcos as long as I remember but (especially after giving birth to my baby miracle 4 years ago) it got better. I concieved after many many years by losing weight,exercise,checking OV with OPKs, taking vitamins and Metformin. So I didnt bother to watch my cycles and count days after having my daughter but Im pretty sure that my cycle is always 31-34 days long so not bad considering my PCOS.
Im ovulating on CD21-22 or 23 the latest with LP 10/11 days long.

So, this time my AF was 14 of July ,checked with opks and I got a positive
2d of August (CD20) I assumed that Im starting to OV as Im passing the day 20 is normal for me and I left it there.
Being impatient to test on 13 of August (10 days later) I got an extremely dark line -darker than the control line- on an OPK...In the past that meant pregnancy to me and I had confirmed it with a HPT 2-3 days my AF was due.
Opks can work and can detect early pregnancy...It happened to me before!

Im due ...actually I was due 16 of august (a day give and take) which makes me AT LEAST 4 days late today but I haven't test with a HPT only with an OPK and I get faint positive lines.
You would ask me why you dont test???
Because Im thinking maybe its the 13th of august that I actually ovulated that makes me 7DPO today and it wont show yet anyway!!

Girls Im very very sorry for the long post ..I hope Im understood the way I wrote everything...PCOS girls have you ovulated as late as CD30???
Is this possible??

No pregnancy signs so far but NO AF SIGNS AS WELL!
Going mad!

i know how frustraing cycles can be.
I have endo and my cycles are so wack i am just about finished af and it was 4 weeks late going by the last cycle.
I am hopeless with working out when I ov as i dont have a rough cycle length average to work it out from. I know opk tests pretty much always give a faint second line but its not a true positive unless it is as dark as the control line. Mayb wait a few days and then take a test?

Maybe then I ovulated very very late and thats why my AF is not here yet because the darkest line (darker even than the cntrol line) was on CD30 august 13 so if we count 10 LP my AF is due 23 /24 of august! WOW

Im seen the same doctor as I did before when I had my daughter (High risk pregnancy gyno) and she knows my situation. She reffered me to a endocrinologist and I have to call her back end of august to tell me the date of my appointment because everybody is on vacation this time of year.
Who knows when Im gonna see him..september?october? Hopefully!

This time I have the longest cycle ever..I hate my pcos ...Did I mention that?!

My doc never bothered to do anything about my irregular cycles......despite them being messed up while on the pill. They just put it down to endo, how am i suposed to try and get preg when i dont know when im fertile if at all?

Hmmm...maybe you should try to change doctor and find a good gyno if its possible .
Do your research...sometimes you have to guide them instead them guiding you!! It sucks!
I dont know much about endomitriosis but I have a friend with the same condition and she has a daughter. Did they mention IVF to you?

my gyno knows, thats what suggested i had the endo. Nope he just said my best chance is the 1st 9-12 months after i had it removed (1 month gone already)

Good luck hun...Infertility/or some conditions if you will, needs patience!!!!
Im sure and I believe it that now days with so much of medical help the majority of us we can concieve and carry a 9month healthy pregnancy.
Its a good time frame 9-12 months!
Believe it and you'll achieve it!!

I would say that it really is most likely that you ovulated on CD30 or not even yet. With PCOS it wouldn't be anything unusual. Some gals ovulated on CD100 and fell pregnant. Really, it did happen.

It could be just one wacko cycle and you'll be back to your usual 30-31 days. But you might wanna add temping (at least a few days before you normally ovulate until FF confirms it), if you don't wanna miss the right days. It's possible to get multiple positive OPKs with PCOS.

Hey hun, I don't have PCOS but I do suffer from very irregular cycles. For a while there my cycles were between 30-36 days but the last few cycles have been much longer. The latest I have ov'd is CD41 and it was confirmed by a VERY +opk and ovulation pains.

Another PCOS girl here for ya I have O'ed as late as day 32... the irregular cycles are pretty annoying! I hope the best for ya, keep us all updated!!! I'm here if you need someone to chat with, I am just starting day 1 of my progesterone pills to try to stimulate AF. Then, clomid
( my 4th cycle) starts on Day 5 after AF arrives. Fingers crossed that it works this time!

I have PCOS and Endo, and have gone long times between cycles...2.5 to 3 month long AF, and another 4 months with nothing. I also did not ovulate for 9 months ( monitored by Doc's blood tests). I know how you feel...it is SO very frustrating. Best of luck and plenty of dust.

MYSTERY SOLVED!!

14 july period
13 August ovulation (meaning CD 30-31!!!!!)
25 BFP (Luteal phase of 11-12 days)

Total 41-42 days of cycle!
Long & confusing but it was worth it!!!
