pcos questions

my dr believes i have pcos based on not getting "real" periods, trouble with extra mid section weight and difficulty ttc. also no positive opks. He ran a blood panel and will do an ultrasound monday to know for sure. he said once its confirmed i will probably be put on metformin.. can i get pregnant on that alone or do you think i will b given provera and clomid? I want a baby sooo bad and any avice, support, knowledge or success stories would be welcome

Yes, many women get pregnant on metformin alone. The metformin is really helpful for ovulation. I know some women take met. and clomid....I'm only taking metformin. I get tons of pos. opk's from my PCOS. I have elevated lutenizing (spelling?)hormone.
