Pee coming out like a fire hose?

So I don't have to pee often.. lucky, I know. I've always had great bladder control.

However... I have noticed that when I do pee... it comes out with much more force than before.
Basically if you put your thumb over the top of a hose and let some water come out thats what it seems like.

Is it possible the baby is somehow doing this? Feel kind of silly for wondering but its just as if someone is forcing the pee out through a more narrow opening than usual.

LMAO reading this title I was cracking up. This is me every morning. I'm also quite amazed by the amount of pee I have started making over night lol

OMG I've been having this for at least two or three months now! It is sometimes so forceful that it sprays out between the toilet and the seat I hate it! No matter how much I try to hold back and go slow, sometimes I just can't seem to control it!

hahahahahaha Oh you make me laugh. My husband made fun of me the other day b/c he heard me pee, and was like WTF?! I simply explained to him the anatomy of women vs. men.. Our pee hole is a tad bigger than theirs. haha but seriously, you're not alone.

lol glad to give some ladies a laugh.. it was just the funniest thing and not one of the common pregnancy things you hear discussed.

and Ember... that happened to me once wasn't pregnant, but did have a very very full bladder and was sitting in a way where I was leaning far back.... totally embarrassing

I usually lean up, but now that you mention it, I think I was leaning back more every time it happened, thanks to bump getting in my way now. I probably sit too close to the front, I'm just used to that because we always had tiny toilets when I was growing up, so it's a habit to sit at the edge on bigger ones, I guess. It was the worst when I had to check my urine for ketones every day while I had the Zofran/Reglan pump. Trying to pee on that tiny little stick... Yeah, I ended up getting it everywhere, sometimes everywhere EXCEPT on the stick I hated having to clean it up every time I went to the bathroom. At least it's gotten a little bit easier lately.

if you have to do the pee strips sometime again, I highly recommend peeing in a cup then dipping the test! Makes it much simpler!

just don't drop the pee-filled up Not that I would know anything about that of course

I also sucked at aiming for the cup, always got it all over my hands. It's terrible when I have to go in for my dr visits. I miss the hat they put in the toilet when I was in the hospital. That thing could catch it easily and it didn't go spraying everywhere or get on my fingers! I soooo wish I had swiped it when I left!

lol! well I got a cup that was meant for pee collection.. it hand a tab at the top that stuck out an inch or so that made it much easier not to get pee on my hands.

Whenever I give samples to the doctor now, they give me a straight cup and I get pee on my hands every time.
