Tons of women have problems with peeing when they cough or sneeze or laugh. I have a bit of a unique problem. Those things don't make me pee, but what does happen is that I go to the bathroom, urinate, stand up, then start peeing myself while washing my hands.

Yesterday I was wiping to catch it while it was happening. I can clench the muscles down there and it doesn't stop. It happens most often in the late afternoon and early evening. I never wake up and have this happen to me first thing in the morning.

Could this just be pressure from my uterus putting a kink in my urethra? Then a stand, it unkinks, and bam, the urine in the tube comes out? That's my best guess. Sitting all day at my desk may be increasing the pressure on the urethra throughout the day.

I've been wearing pantyliners obviously, but if it's enough, that doesn't matter. I had it run down my leg and soak through my pants one day last week.

At least I know it's not amniotic fluid, but it might be confusing if/when my water does break.

Oh my gosh! It's probably just the positioning. I need to pee if I'm walking. Sometimes I will pee and then as soon as I get back to my desk, I feel like I need to pee again. Have you tried leaning forward when you pee? It's supposed to press on the bladder to get the rest out

I will try that! I have to avoid leaning forward when I stand up, so that makes sense.

There are physiotherapists for goings on down there. Your GP can give you a referral to a specialist who can either help you or refer you to a physio person. My gf's pee problem didn't stop after birth so she saw one and has finally recovered. It took her over a year of wearing depends to sort it out, time she said wasted when the answer was so easy!

Ive been having this happen to me recently aswell. It never happened in my first pregnancy. When im washing my hands after ive leaked quite bad a few times.

Keza, not that I want you to have this problem but it makes me feel better that someone else has the same thing going on.

I've managed to avoid it today through the leaning forward and pushing hard to try to completely empty my bladder. Hopefully that will keep working.

You probably don't need to see anyone for it, I had this same thing happen to me with my first baby ;) what I learned to do was to stand up over the toilet and shake a little lol, I know it sounds funny but I think my little girl was blocking something? Anyhow it helped a lot :)
