Peed off with the courts..

My OH is in court this month for trial (13 months after the crime took place). He has to attend Preston crown court and two days in a row now he's paid the £20 train fare only to arrive at court and be told to go home.. it's been adjourned! He has to attend for approx. 7 days (£140) and from what his solicitor has said he'll only actually be in court for maybe half an hour each day! We've spoke to his solicitor and they can't reimburse anything cos it's seen as "bribing" clients to stay with their firm They must think we're bloody made of money.. !!
