People Can finally tell

Last night I went to my normal market to get some rubbing alcohol and hand soap after OH and I's awful fight (my other ridiculously long and rambling thread) and we saw a lady who works there everytime we're in there. I think she stocks the cosmetic section. OH was asking her about unscented hand soap and when we found what we were looking for she looks at me and asks, "Are you expecting?" I was half happy and half confused because I hadn't had any idea people could tell it was a bump and not just fat. So I say yes and she touches my bump. First time that's happened to me And I really didn't know how to take it. She talked for awhile about enjoying every minute of my pregnancy and how amazing childbirth is and then we say goodbye and leave. As we're leaving I hear her tell another woman she works with "She IS expecting", like they had been talking about it. It was just very strange and I've been hearing about random people asking about bump/touching bump out of nowhere but I didn't know when it would happen to me. Very strange.

they just dont have much to do working at the shop i suppose, but it nice when peeps notice! being pregnant is great and it should be celebrated and enjoyed im loving it now morning sickness has stopped

Aww that's great ! Get use to people talking to you about your bump! It's like when you carry a little dog, people become all friendly and chatty towards you. Now I can't go shopping without having people saying: Aww when is it for? is it a boy or a girl?...

I don't personally like it because I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to be bothered. But that's just me !

I think if a random person would touch bump I'd hit him/her! Such a lack of respect!

That's good that someone noticed your bump, but I would freak if a stranger touched my belly. Some of the girls I work with seem obessed with me being pregnant, they are always saying something to me everyday. I just want to tell them all off and smack them. Yes, I am with baby, let me be would ya??

Too cool, show that belly off proudly.

Yeah I'm a pretty quiet person and I like to keep to myself but it was kind of nice having a random woman ask me about my bump. For some reason, even with this forum I can't get enough of talking about it But I wasn't too thrilled with the touching but I was nice about it, Lol

I've only just started to get this recently, and I'm thrilled as I've had a small bump all through pregnancy and only just "popped out" so to speak... I like feeling like I can be proud of my bump, rather than trying to cover it up to avoid being mistaken for somone who's just a bit on the podgy side!

Yeah, that's my favorite part of it all! I'm so glad I don't just look like I've put on a few too many It's great that people can finally tell the difference between fat and baby.
