people lying about being pregnant...

Have any of you ladies had this happen? I get so annoyed when people lie about being pregnant. In the last year I have had 2 people lie to me about it and I totally proved they were lying. Now one of the same girls is saying shes pregnant again, and I have this gut feeling that shes lying again. I know it shouldn't bother me cause its her life, but I just get so frustrated....

Yes! 2 years ago, when I was still in high school this girl who was kinda known for lying. Well, she was telling some people she was pregnant and some that she wasn't. She had told me she wasn't, and my boyfriend she was. Or vice versa. Well, she had came over to me and like I asked her about it and she lied right to both of us. And then she was telling everyone she had a miscarriage. How am I supposed to sympathize for you if I don't believe you were actually pregnant. You know?

exactly! The first girl actually claimed she was pregnant, was going to get an A and then a few months later claimed she was still pregnant and a week after that that she had a stillborn. When asked about her ultrasound picture she sent one that I easily found on Goggle.

The second girl claimed she was a week further along than me when we first found out and then when asked for her ultrasound picture, it was one from Google as well. Now the same girl is claiming she is pregnant again, telling everyone at 9 weeks without knowing if the baby is ok because a few weeks ago she went into something like a diabetic coma and doesn't seem worried about how that could affect the baby.

I want to tell her congratulations and be happy for her, but something just doesn't feel right about this.

Yeah, sounds like something is definitely up with that. I don't understand exactly why people lie about this. It's a really dumb thing to lie about. Obviously in a few months time people will be able to tell if your lying or not. And its definitely not something to lie about, losing a baby. It kinda disgusts me honestly.

Yes ever since I Been pregnant i have this friend everytime I see her she says she got a positive test :/ it aggravates Me and when i found Out for this pregnancy she called me A liar

Actually this happened to me recently a girl i used to be close friends with posted on facebook that she was pregnant and so i told her congratulations and then a month later so january i asked if she got her ultrasound pictures yet and then she said she has a miscarriage and then my friend not knowing she had a miscarriage posted on facebook a truth is saying congrats and she said she was joking about being pregnant and so i had asked her about it and she said she was joking she had lied so much she didnt know which lie she had told me so she said she joked about the pregnancy not knowing that she orginally told me she had a miscarriage and her boyfriend told me she was never even pregnant. i was wtf you dont joke about miscarriage.

I don't get why people lie either I mean whats the point other than to get attention? And lying about losing a baby is so sick and twisted... I get so angry every time I see that girls name because she lied about something like that.

I had a miscarriage prior to this pregnancy before to, which makes me even more mad. Like they have no idea what its like to go through that, and they just throw it around like nothing. Sick.

i also had a miscarriage prior to my pregnancy and i went into a spiraling depression for 3 months never left my room and its definitely not something to joke about.

I haven't had a miscarriage, so I have no idea what thats like to go through but it still makes me so mad to hear people joke about it.

One of my friends from high school lost her daughter at 8 months pregnant due to that ob cholestasis, and that was around the same time that one girl said she had a stillborn. I was so angry because she was lying about something that another person was having to live through. I actually got mad enough to send her a fb message and tell her what happened to my friend and how it was pathetic that she had to lie about something like this when others have to live the horror of it.

As soon as I fell pregnant my sister told everyone she was pregnant too.
Nobody thought that shit was cute though cause she was f*cking someone homeless guys she only knew for a week

Yes, I know three people who lied about being pregnant. Two of them posted it all over facebook when it wasn't true! It's a sick thing to lie about, weirdos!

There was this one girl in high school who was known for being a liar.. she was always dating someone new, and the guys didn't know they were dating lmao.
Anyway, when I got pregnant with Peighton this girl started saying she was also pregnant with her boyfriend's baby (a 20 year old from college).. a few months later she said she had a miscarriage. I actually felt bad for her but she started changing the story with anyone she would talk to. she told me she fell down the stairs and started bleeding, then she also said she was hit by a car, etc
I really do feel bad for her though :/

Yep! She was 3 weeks and had gotten all these scan photos or so she said.. I was pregnant at the time and the things she said got proven wrong by me and a few other pregnant people/mums.. I don't get why though

ha for the heck of it I decided to go Google positive pregnancy tests and found the exact one that this girl put up on Facebook. The only difference is the one she put up looks like the edges have been altered a bit.. like added black shadowing to the corners. otherwise all the shadows and lights and everything are in the exact same spots. I cannot wait to see how she plays this one off. some people I tell you..

Reading these stories makes me so upset! I had a miscarriage prior to my pregnancy now and it's something never to joke about. Its so hard! Before my miscarriage we told my OH's family and all of a sudden his sister started "trying" after just removing herself from the depo, continuing to drink a lot and all of a sudden one week later she's pregnant too!! Then after my miscarriage she claims that she apparently lost her baby too, with fake scan pictures etc exactly like what you guys are explaining. Grrrr!

I know the feelung I first feel pregnant at 17 miscarried first tri 2months later I feel pregnant people never beleived me lost my second baby bubbles at 2nd tri was heart brocken my frienss was like its not true because of how quike I feel pregnant but then they beleved me as I had to give birth to my child only for one of my freinds to start saying she was pregnant already in 2nd tri but aparenntly she miscarred on her 3rd tri but everyobe caught her out but after my son was born 3 months ago I found out im pregnant again now 19 engaged just waiting for someone to fack anouggter pregnancy x
