People with bumgenius v2 and 3

I wanted to pick your brains...

I bought some new bg v2 from someone in eBay and wanted to check a few things as I'm not sure they are genuine.

Firstly the insert is completely different to the v3 nappies. It feels very different as is no where near as absorbant. The labels have also faded after a few washes and my v3s haven't. Also, one if the Velcro tabs came away after only being used 3 or 4 times.

Are v2s like this or do I need to be kicking up a fuss?!

Did you just buy v2 new? V3 has been out awhile, I can't really imagine being able to get genuine new v2 after all this time..hmmm. Pics?
