period already!?

So - 3 nights ago I went to the bathroom, had a big amount of red blood, as well as a clot... then it was gone, next morning, more blood - no clot that time... and since then, on and off i've had fairly heavy bleeding.

I called my OB's office, and the receptionist checked with my OB, and the OB said that since it's 4 weeks post c-section it's probably just my period.

Doesn't that seem too soon to get my period? My bleeding never fully stopped, mind you it was the brownish tinge for quite a while, and barely there.

Anyone else get their period this soon after baby??

I got mine around 5.5 weeks I think? It came within a couple days of the post partum bleeding stopping

yep i got mine 2 weeks after maddi was born! i had post-partum bleeding for 12 days then my period
