pessary induction!

There have been a lot of women who have been induced since Friday who have gone to labour ward and I assume had their babies (she says rather bitterly :haha:) and a few were due earlier me so it seems its more in your favour that it will work quicker then this.

Aww bless that must be even more frustrating:dohh:

I'm hoping for quick and staright forward but knowing my luck it'll probably not go like that lol

Aww hun I was hoping to log on this morning to a birth story! :hugs:

Sorry to say it but he's being a typical little boy and dragging his heels (both mine have been majorly overdue and nothing was budging them!) Hope he gets moving for you soon.....no wonder your blood pressure is going up!

Thinking of you hun - hope he gets a shimmy on for you soon!

oh no i was hoping there was a congrats by now :( xxx suppose so were u more so :haha:

Just saw a different doctor he said Fox is now free which is a problem and really being my 3rd baby it should have at least started workinh by now :(

He wants a scan and if Fox is moving ok then he might send us home for a few days which I'm really upset about. A 10 minute scan to me is nothing compared to the weeks me knowing he's not moving much.

Feeling very frustrated.

oh no can't believe nothings working yet :( sucks about having to go home, but maybe your body needs that bit longer to prepare itself :(

Had the scan and placenta is ok and he's growing ok but very minimal movements and no practice breathing which there should be.

Hes switched to my right side since yesterday after being on my left for weeks and my placenta runs all the way down the left so I now have no chance of feeling him move.

I'm a mess and just want him out now. Something isn't right I just know it but I don't.think.the doctor is gooinh to listen to me

Hugs :hugs: So sorry this is turning into such a rubbish time for you :( Can you ask for a second opinion?

Registrar has said 2 6 hour induction tablets taking me to 12ish tonight.

I asked about skipping that and going straight to failed induction but she started saying csection isn't the easy way out. I don't want the easy way out I just want feel like my baby is going to be safe

Can they at least confirm if this is a final attempt at induction, and if they will go to a c-section of this doesn't work?

You never know though, it might do the trick and you'll have your little boy soon - I really hope so!

Id keep pushingthem if you think something isnt right then they should be listening - I would ask that this is the last induction try and after that its a section, keep going xxx

:( I just wish these people would listen to the mums, you've got that baby in your belly never mind a quick look with a scanning machine.

Have been & will keep thinking of you. Fox will give you a big sign if he really needs to come, I'm sure he is fine and just really cosy clinging on to his Mummy.

Got my fingers so tightly crossed for these next inductions, c section isn't the easy way out like you say, it's a means to an end to get your sweet boy in your arms.

Kick up a massive stink if you need too! Thinking of you xx

Need to get my natural birthing mumma hat on and get my head under control.

This new tablet WILL work and he will be here soon. At this rate I'm going to completely lose my head in labour which is the last thing Fox needs especially if he's going to struggle a bit as it is.

DH is bringing the baby bag in from the car because I'm not leaving here without my boy.

Scan estimated his weight to be 8lbs so we will see how accurate that is. I might need to get some newborn clothes if he is a dinky babe.

Try to stay positive hun- it will work and you will be going home with Fox soon!

I don't understand why they're being so funny about it. If you're worried, they should be helping you, not making you more nervous or apprehensive.

My thoughts are with you all hun! Keep calm and try to relax a bit. :hugs::hugs:

I am praying this works soon and your stubborn boy arrives TODAY! :hugs:

Aww bless ya hun, sounds like you're having a tough time of it :(

Fingers crossed for you.

I didn't get my sweep today as baby's head is still totally free :( she even cancelled my apt for weds as am due in on thurs. So who knows whats gonna happen on thurs now. Really hoping baby engages over next few days (though mw was none too hopeful :( )
