They have been great for me. My bunny has dental problems which have been covered completely bar my £50 excess. X

kl iv never got pet insurance before how does the excess work.

Like any other insurance policy. When you make a claim (mine was for £250 of treatment) you pay the excess so £50 and I recieved £200 from the insurance company.

Would be the same if the treatment was £1000, you'd just pay the excess and then the insurance company would cover the rest in line with your policy.

I second petplan, we have our pup through them, avoid animal friends, they've been awful with a claim we have for our cat, wish I'd read the reviews instead of looking at the price!
