Petechial rash? (pic attached)

I have this bizarre freckly rash down the back of my arm! The freckles don't itch, they're red and perfectly smooth and I am pretty sure they are petechiae (tiny freckle-size patches of bleeding from skin capillaries). I used to get these sometimes around my eyes after a bout of crying. I haven't seen them for ages and I've never got so many in the same place before. I'm guessing it's probably a harmless pregnancy-related phenomenon but I have no idea if I should be concerned or not.

Thinking about it, I lean on this arm a lot when I'm on my laptop or resting in bed (it's my left arm) so might it be related to that...? I dunno.

I'm seeing my midwife on Monday and am going to mention it to her. While it's on my mind though I just wanted to see if anyone else has this kind of rash in pregnancy, on any part of their body?

If so, was it anything to be concerned about, or just one of those weird pregnancy skin things?

I have read that petechiae can be a sign of low platelet counts, but I had my bloods taken a couple of weeks ago and everything was fine then! Confused.

I have sum red slots like that too.. Mine are like not as a rash one on my finger one on my wrist .. I read that stuff too... My dr says it's fine

Oh wow... I have this on the back of my shoulder! Just like broken capilaries that I get in my face from throwing up.
I couldn't for the life of me work out how I got it! But looks like I'm not the only one

i get those on my arms when ive been in the sun for too long (very porcelain skinned) maybe its something to do with heat if you get them when leaning on your laptop? GL tho xxxx
