well heres the pics from the birthday party I went to last night... I know you should never blame your tools but I couldnt help it, if there was no natural light my camera was crap, which stopped me from taking more pics... :(

These were taken the other week when I was in Rachiebaby24's car coming back from the London Zoo meeting:

This was taken through the sunroof:

And this was as we were driving over the bridge:

I still need to work on things like exposure, aperture and shutter speed, but I'm reading up on that at the moment.

Exactly the same as me!! Wish I had some more time though :(

where are u reading it from??

Kerry, the photos of the babies at the party are adorable! I think the one of the cake turned out beautifully too.

Neecee - that Big Ben shot is ACE! Like how you processed it.

For discussions of aperture, shutter speed, ISO and exposure, have a read here:
https://www.photonhead.com/exposure/

There is a Sim Cam option on the site that allows you to try out a virtual-world combination of apertures and shutter speeds to see how they affect one another. It's how I taught myself.

Anna - My eyes keep catching you display picture, and I remember the link you sent me a while ago to some of your other pictures. May I ask, do you have a dark room? Or is it just a Blackout setting? :)

Neecee those two pictures you posted are fantastic. You really do have a great eye for photos - I can't wait to see what you can achieve when you get your camera :)

Nothing exciting like fancy gear CallieBert - just a large piece of black velvet from a fabric store.

I've invested in a flashgun for my DSLR to fill in any shadows - the rest is just natural light from the window. :)

Yey. Can't wait to see the pictures here are a couple more that I took of Braden Last night. He finally got the IV taken from his head, they put it into his left arm instead. So i was able to wash his hair yey
