I have a big pile since giving birth, which starts to itch on and off

can this be removed with an operation

They can be but I think most doctors will try sprays and creams etc first

I have managed to pregnancys without getting them & knowing my luck it will be 3rd time lucky this time!! My SIL had them & she was told to apply cream (prescribed by doc) & to push it back up inside (TMI)...hope you get relieved soon x

I have a cream (anusol) which helps, but I was wondering as it is always coming back!

I had it big time too after having my baby. I used the anusol as well and it eventually went away within several weeks. Keep using ointement and make sure not to remain seated for hours on end. Move, drink plenty of fluids and have a good fiber intake. If it doesn't go away, then you should talk to your doctor about options. Good luck!
